I find Facebook to be more on the "personal" side, and LinkedIn requires too much work to update on a daily basis. I also use it to follow others, from what I understand that _is_ the main goal of using twitter. As for wasting time, this can be said of blogs, facebook, and even email. So no I don't think it's a time killer, not more than any other social application in existence. Hi Dennis,

A lot of people email me wondering where I am, what i’m doing, what i’m working on, etc.

I adopted twitter to allow the “public”, people who follow my blog, coworkers, and anyone else to do just that.

I find Facebook to be more on the “personal” side, and LinkedIn requires too much work to update on a daily basis.

I also use it to follow others, from what I understand that _is_ the main goal of using twitter.

As for wasting time, this can be said of blogs, facebook, and even email. So no I don’t think it’s a time killer, not more than any other social application in existence.
